Application of ISOMAX S Molded Case Circuit Breaker
The ISOMAX series of molded case circuit breakers is applicable for disconnection and operation in circuits with an alternating current of 50/60Hz, a rated working voltage of 690V or lower, and a rated current of up to 2000A. It can distribute electrical energy in the circuit, and serve as a protector against overload of wiring and power equipment, as well as short – circuit and undervoltage. Additionally, this circuit breaker can switch circuits and start motors infrequently. Other features of the product include a small size, a large contact spacing, a high breaking capacity, and a short arcing distance. Its performance is the same as that of the original S – series circuit breakers. This product complies with the IEC90947 – 2 standard.
Working Environment of S Molded Case Circuit Breaker
1.The installation site should not be higher than 2000m above sea level. (If it is higher, please consult the manufacturer from the United States first.)
2.The ambient temperature should not be higher than +40℃ or lower than – 50℃, and the average temperature over 24 hours should not exceed +35℃.
(Note: If the temperature exceeds the above limits, users should make adjustments according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.)
3.The working area should not contain any explosive, metal – corrosive or inductive media. The site should also be protected from wind and rain.
4.The relative atmospheric humidity should not exceed 90%.
5.The working place should not be subject to shaking or exposed to rain or snow. Connect the upper terminal to a power source, and the lower terminal to a load. The inclination on each side should not exceed 5°.
