Description
The CM1 series of molded case circuit breakers is a high – performance low – voltage protection device developed by Changshu Switch Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (CSC). Specifically designed for industrial, commercial, and special environments, this series is based on advanced international design and manufacturing technologies. It is suitable for AC 50/60Hz circuits, with a maximum rated operating voltage of 690V AC and a rated current range from 6A to 800A. It is widely used for overload, short – circuit, and undervoltage protection in power distribution networks, motor protection, and industrial control systems. The CM1 series takes high breaking capacity, modular design, and environmental adaptability as its core advantages. It is the only molded case circuit breaker among domestic products that has passed the nuclear industry 1E – level test and ship environment test.
Core Performance Features
Excellent Short – circuit Protection Ability
- According to the ultimate short – circuit breaking capacity (Icu), it is divided into Type C (basic type), Type L (standard type), Type M (higher breaking type), and Type H (high – breaking type). The maximum breaking capacity can reach 70kA (depending on the model).
- The zero – arcing or short – arcing design reduces the arc risk and ensures operational safety. Some specifications support horizontal or vertical installation.
Flexible Configuration and Modular Design
- Pole selection: 2P (double – pole), 3P (triple – pole), 4P (quadruple – pole) to meet the protection requirements of single – phase, three – phase, and neutral wires.
- Trip type:
- Thermal – magnetic tripper (fixed characteristics, B/C/D curves).
- Electronic tripper (adjustable long – time delay, instantaneous, short – time delay, such as CM1E type).
- Installation methods: Fixed – type, plug – in type, draw – out type (such as CM1 – 400H/3370), which is convenient for maintenance and replacement.
High Reliability and Environmental Adaptability
- The protection level is IP20 (standard type), and it can be upgraded to IP54 with special accessories, adapting to humid, salt – fog, oil – fog, and mildew environments.
- The operating temperature range is from – 5°C to + 40°C ( + 45°C for marine models), and the altitude should not exceed 2000m.
Intelligence and Expansion Functions
- Optional accessories such as auxiliary contacts, alarm contacts, shunt trip coils, undervoltage trip coils, etc. can be equipped to achieve remote monitoring and fault diagnosis.
- The CPI (Circuit Breaker Status Indicator Window) intuitively displays the on – off state, improving the operation and maintenance efficiency.
- Halogen – free materials are used, complying with RoHS and REACH regulations to support sustainable development.
